Meeting Nanny

We went to Winnsboro on Friday to see Nanny who flew in from Colorado. She will be in town for around a month and a half. This is Cooper with Granny and Nanny.

Cooper immediately wanted to play.

Cooper being asked if he wants a doughnut. "Who me?"

Cooper eating his doughnut and wanting to put on Chris's baseball hat.

Cooper smiling for the camera while eating his doughnut.

Granny showing Cooper her picture she took of him.

Potty break!

Potty treat: Oreo.

Cooper are you happy you're eating an Oreo? "I'm happy mommy."

Christmas tree was going up and Cooper helped. Cooper handed Nanny some Christmas tree branches to open too.

Cooper would then take the Christmas tree branches to Granny who would help Cooper put onto the Christmas pole.

Christmas tree is up. Cooper back to playing for a few minutes before we needed to leave.

Saying goodbyes!

Granny and Nanny! Love this smile!

Stickers & Crayons

Cooper really loves stickers! I saved a Stamp Safari sticker booklet and Cooper had so much fun placing the animal sticker on the correct animal. I think I'll have to try and find some more sticker themes for him.

Cooper talking about his animals.

While preparing supper, Cooper pulled out his crayons and a random piece of paper and started coloring immediately in his perfect spot.

This is Cooper telling me "Mommy, I draw happy face".

This is Cooper wanting to trace his foot.

This is Cooper's masterpiece. I can see the smiley face!

Morning Potty Fun

We are so proud of Cooper potty progress. He's been doing so great! He still wears a pull-up for naps and during the night. Cooper's been voicing "I need to go potty" and will make his way to the bathroom. This is Cooper so happy he went potty!

This is Cooper's potty treat. We tried chocolate. A chocolate covered raisin made Cooper within a couple minutes "bounce off the walls". After a couple of tries with different forms of chocolate in very small raisin like doses, with the same results; we had to go to another potty treat. Although hot and Cooper will ask for his cup he likes Hot Tamales. He will get 1 when he will voice he needs to go potty. He will say "I get Hot Tomalees?" "I go potty, go potty, go potty". (The "go potty" is from a video we rented at the library and theme song and over 3/4th's of the video was the "Go Potty Go". I can hear it now.

I guess I just wanted to include this shot because I know Cooper won't be going potty like this forever. This is Cooper's choice a little more than going on his frog potty. He's just too cute as he's grows each and everyday.

Happy boy with his 1/2 banana.

Spending some time with Daddy before leaving for work.

Waving "bye-bye".

Cooper's sweet face.

Big Boy Pillow

I washed Cooper's new sheets and decided to start the transition from crib to bed. This is Cooper so happy with his new "big boy pillow".

Cooper wanted to put the pillow in his crib. "I do my self, mommy." Okay, big boy!

Cooper has been wanting to climb into his crib by himself. This is Cooper climbing in his crib. He can climb out as well but he doesn't climb out without us in the room.

Wanting to put his pillow in the perfect spot.

Putting his blanket on. Making sure the toes are under.

This is Cooper wanting me to take a picture of his pillow. He then wanted to see the picture.

I took these pictures tonight and was glad to see Cooper sleeping soundly on his new big boy pillow.

Birthday Fun

We've had birthday fun this weekend. I had my birthday yesterday and we went to Red Lobster with Granny and PaPa. Cooper loves looking at the lobsters and fish in the tanks. I was able to wear a pair of maturity jeans that fit! Chris asked me a few days ago what I wanted for my birthday. I didn't know. After some thought, I knew a pair of maturity jeans that fit would be nice. I have several from last pregnancy but I'm a lot smaller this pregnancy than last. (This is a good thing! I'm healthier this pregnancy and that's better than good.) Some of jeans/pants still fall off me. I went to work Thursday and Dr. Nyland had received his big winnings from his Las Vegas trip. While he was in Las Vegas, he played a hand for the office. I told Chris that money could be my birthday pants. So...here are the jeans that make me feel happy!

We went to Winnsboro today for Granny's birthday which was today. Pretty neat! Our birthdays within 2 days. Here's our birthday cake and the candle Cooper helped blow out.

But wait...this candle doesn't stay out. This candle relights by itself.

Cooper really tried to blow out the candle.

Cooper loved trying over and over to blow the candle out. He looked under the cake wondering how the candle was relighting by itself. Too cute!

This is Cooper enjoying a very small piece of cake.

Chris had a basket of toys from his childhood Cooper enjoyed playing with. He asked "what's this" and actually learned about different types of trucks ect. This is Cooper wanting to take some of toys home.

After a few minutes, Cooper understood he was going to leaving the toys for his next time. This is Cooper enjoying one last time with jet.

Another birthday gift, some sheets from Granny and PaPa for Cooper's new bed. Also, for my birthday a pedicure; given by yours truly. Looks pretty good and feels great! Overall, great birthday weekend with cards, messages and quality with family!
