Fun Fall & Pumpkin Carving

So far this weekend we've had a lot of fun! This one of my favorite pictures of Cooper today. So, I put this one 1st! He's so cute and lovable and just perfect!

Our doorbell rang a couple of nights ago and Chris answered the door and this was note was left with a basket of candy. Chris said he hear girls laughing and knew they were watching him look at the note and basket. We both knew they girls were having a great time and so did we.

The basket with candy that was left and bag of candy we purchased to "pass on the treat".

The picture Cooper's painted. Wish I had shot of him painting but missed it.

This is our picture's home until after the 31st.

This was our start this morning. Wake up time but first let's pretend to be Mommy. Cooper climbed into bed and pulled covers up.

"This Cooper's bed?" Hard to say no to this smile! Cooper was out of this position within seconds ready to go downstairs. We all went downstairs to watch our library video one more time. The theme song and 3/4 of the video was "Go, Potty, Go, Potty, Go, Potty Go". Chris and I both laughed after we made eye contact after the 10th time of the song.

Cooper and I went to the library for "toddler story time" while Chris went to the grocery store and to get the "punk-kin" as Cooper would say.

More fall fun with song: "1-2-3-4-5 Bats Fly Away".

Before leaving the library, Cooper and I walked through to find some books to check out. Cooper was "scared of dragon".

I knew he wanted to get over his fear of this so we stayed a few minutes and worked through Cooper's fear.

He was proud of himself and so was I!

After returning home, eating lunch, Cooper was ready to start carving the "punk-kin".

Cooper was all eyes on the free-hand design.

The start of the carving.

Daddy showing Cooper how to clean out the pumpkin.

Cooper's turn...

Love the face.

Becoming an expert.

Cooper is checking to see if its all clean.

Cooper's smiles...

Cooper said "punk-kin beautiful". We responded, "yes, it is beautiful". Cooper said, "it sure is". Funny to hear Cooper say little phrases Chris and I say all the time and then hear Cooper say them.

Chris did a great job on the design and we have enjoyed our pumpkin.
