Two Frogs

Today Cooper went to Mother's Morning Out and worked on colors, letters in his name and the number 2. Even though Mother's Morning Out doesn't concentrate on preschool curriculum, Cooper will sometimes come home with some impressive work. This
week he brought this home. When I asked Cooper about his picture he pointed and said correctly "green frog" and then pointed to the other said "blue frog". He talked about "Cooper's hands".

This is Cooper showing his picture reluctantly with Daddy's help to Mommy's camera. Say cheese!!

On Thursday afternoon's I pick Cooper up from New Heights (Mother's Morning Out) and where his sitter Barb also teaches preschool. Barb has 5 children of her own and her youngest daughter, Mercy is in the 6th grade. Barb has been watching Cooper since he's been 6 months old. Barb's heart was called to watch God's children. She loves the Lord and her love and been a gift to Cooper's life. She has a gift with teaching and educating each child exactly where they are at. I have found the hour commute to be hard but worth it every time I see Cooper's heart for the Lord grow. Cooper said a couple weeks ago, "God" with sign language and then "Jesus" with a different sign language.

This is Barb's picture that she drew. Barb introduced Cooper to scissors. She said he had been working on play-do scissors but she said she thought he was ready for scissors. Cooper loved it! He cried when he had to put the scissors back. Cooper would cut about an inch around the entire picture. I call it "Scissor border".

Today when I picked Cooper up he was working on this picture. Cooper was painting with single brush several colors. He had a cup of water he was washing his paint brush off and then painting away. Also, the scissors were taken to this picture as well.

These are all the pictures Cooper brought home today. He enjoyed the paint brush, scissors and talking about this two frogs and hands.
